Offset Printing

The pinnacle of color control. Offset printing delivers unparalleled color accuracy and image clarity — CMYK or exact Pantone matching — for prints with vibrant, true-to-life hues that digital can approximate but not equal.

Color fidelity is the headline: when the brand color has to be *that* blue, offset with mixed PMS ink is the answer. One- and two-color PMS jobs are the bedrock of fine stationery work. And offset opens the specialty ink cabinet: metallics and fluorescents that transform a print run into bespoke work.

Halftone & duotone

Our halftone work converts continuous-tone images into dots and lines of varying size — reproducing intricate shades with depth and texture that suits black-and-white photography and fine-art reproduction. Duotone overlays two contrasting ink colors for a stylized, emotionally rich result that's one of our favorite looks for posters and art books.

When to choose offset

  • Exact Pantone brand or theme colors, including neons and metallics
  • Larger runs where per-piece cost and color consistency matter
  • Halftone, duotone, and fine-art reproduction
  • Full-bleed floods and large solid coverage without banding

FAQ

Offset or digital?

Offset for exact Pantone color, big solid floods, and volume; digital for speed, short runs, and variable data. We run both and will tell you honestly which your project wants.

Can offset match my exact brand color?

That's the headline: PMS inks mixed to target — including metallics and fluorescents — for color digital can approximate but not equal.

When does offset win on cost?

As quantity climbs. Plates and makeready are the setup; past that, per-piece cost falls fast and color stays locked across the whole run.

What is a one- or two-color PMS job?

The bedrock of fine stationery: one or two hand-mixed Pantone inks instead of four-color process — deeper, cleaner color with real economy.
