The event moved up. The cards didn't ship. The launch is Thursday. Rush work is what Publicide is known for: specialty printing on deadlines that make other shops hang up.
Being in the Garment District matters here: plates made across the street, papers picked up same-day, presses in our own shop instead of a vendor queue. When a project is genuinely urgent, we compress everything compressible and tell you honestly what's possible in the time you have.
How rush works here
- Tell us the real deadline: The in-hands date, not a cushion. We plan backward from it.
- We spec for speed: some techniques rush better than others. Digital and foil can turn in days; deep letterpress on duplexed stock needs more. We'll tell you which corner of the design to hold firm and which to flex.
- Decisions stay fast: rush jobs get one proof round and direct phone access. You approve, we run.
Same-week turnaround is routine; same-day and next-day happen more often than you'd think. The only honest answer on timing is specific to your job, so ask.
What we rush
Business cards for tomorrow's meeting, event collateral when the venue changes, menus for a Friday opening, press kits, funeral programs handled with care and speed, packaging for a launch that won't move. If it's on our techniques list: there's a rush version of it.
