Make an extraordinary impact with Deep Impression Printing. Pressed in logos, typesetting, business cards, and stationery templates look outstanding pushed into a thick, heavy cardstock.

You will often hear us say: pressed is best. Traditional letterpress printing stands apart from full-color printing in the way that the ink is lightly indented into the page. The ink from digital printing simply lays on the surface of the paper stock. With deep impression printing, you’ll see letterpress pushed to the fullest extent of the technique.

By pushing the ink heavily into the plush paper-stock, the final product takes on an immersive dimension with touchable depth. In a town overrun with fast & cheap business cards, it won’t be hard to distinguish yourself from the pack with a deboss style deep impression calling card.

Amp up your artful edge painting by laying in a colorful or metallic foil stamp. Get intricate with custom, multilayered embossments. Push the limits with an extra heavy indentation and you’re sure to make your mark in the corporate world. Play up positive and negative space with a few lots of raised ink. The engraved look of deep impression printing will lend itself to any variety of custom printing specifications. A deep impression is always a lasting one.

Pricing for deep impression printing is based on quantity, paper type and the number of processes and machines that will be used in creating the order. More elaborate and custom print specs cost considerably more than standard orders, so it’s important to get a quote before proceeding. Production time varies with order complexity and our seasonal workload but our elastic schedule allows for very fast rush prints when required, though rush charges apply. Turnaround time is calculated from the date of PDF proof approval. If your print job has a hard due-date please let us know when making your request. Email us with your design file or specs to receive a custom quote. All projects must have a custom quote number to proceed. We offer scheduled meetings at our NYC Print Shop but prefer to send preliminary pricing before scheduling so that we can all start off on the same page.

Some specs are available for rush printing service. To inquire about a rush job, please email artwork, print specifications and desired completion date ASAP to rush@publicide.com. If we’re able to accommodate your schedule we will reply with pricing and additional costs for the rush. Rush printing is one of our specialties but please be aware that every moment counts in a rush print schedule. Some jobs will require additional shifts and weekend work to finish on time so the price can be significantly higher than jobs on a regular schedule.
